Aqualis® CN Solub – Calcium Nitrate

Aqualis® CN Solub is the water-soluble calcium nitrate of EuroChem. It is a highly efficient source of calcium and nitrogen promptly available to plants.

Calcium is an important secondary macronutrient, demanded during the entire life cycle of any crop. It is directly related to the formation of the cell walls of the plants. Aqualis® CN Solub helps plants to be more resistant to stress and improves the quality and shelf life of crops.

Aqualis® CN Solub – Properties

Aqualis® CN Solub has less than 0.2% insoluble matter and thus does not cause any problems of clogging nozzles, irrigation lines or emitters.
Aqualis® CN Solub contains 26.5% of Calcium oxide, equivalent to 19% of pure calcium soluble in water.
Free of impurities such as chloride, sodium, perchlorate or heavy metals. It is made of virtually 100 % plant nutrients, therefore it does not contain any element harmful to crops.
It promotes the development of the root system, increase the quality and resistance of the plants to phytopathology agents.
The Nitrate Nitrogen of Aqualis® CN solub is promptly absorbed by the plants and it increases the absorption of cations such as Calcium, Magnesium or Potassium.

Aqualis® CN Solub – Application

Aqualis® CN solub can be applied in all fertigation programs,
hydroponics, soil application or even foliar application.

Because of its extremely low mobility on the phloem, calcium must be applied during all life cycle of the crops in order to ensure good levels of this important nutrients in the vegetable tissues and promoting a good development of the plants.

It can be mixed with other fertilizers except to stock
solution of products containing phosphates or sulfates.
For example, if Aqualis® CN solub is mixed with Aqualis® MAP solub
(monoammonium phosphate), the calcium from Aqualis® CN solub and the phosphate from the Aqualis® MAP solub can form calcium phosphate, which is insoluble and precipitates out,
clogging lines and emitters during the fertigation.
