Aqualis® NOP solub – Potassium Nitrate

Aqualis® NOP solub is the potassium nitrate of EuroChem, a combination of nitrate nitrogen and potassium. It is a crystalline fertilizer totally soluble in water.

Potassium is the macronutrient related to quality in all crops, it helps to improve fruit size, appearance, nutritional value, flavor and increases shelf life.

Aqualis® NOP solub is also an important raw material for Aqualis® water-soluble NPK production.

Aqualis® NOP solub – Properties
  • Aqualis® NOP solub is a crystalline fertilizer with less than 0.1% of insoluble matter.
  • The synergy between the cation (K+) and the anion (NO3-) facilitates the uptake of both ions by the plant roots.
  • The affinity between the negatively charged nitrate and the positively charged potassium prevents adsorption of potassium to soil particles, making it available to plants for a longer time.
  • Aqualis® NOP solub helps crops build stronger cell walls, therefore increasing the plants resistance to pathogenic factors.
  • It improves the ability of the plants to resist to drought.
  • Aqualis® NOP solub is composed of white crystals and does not cake under normal storage conditions.
  • Aqualis® NOP solub is available in 25 kg polyethylene bags or big bags.

Aqualis® NOP solub – Application

Aqualis® NOP solub can be mixed with all other type of water-soluble fertilizers and does not contain any element harmful to the plants. Aqualis® NOP solub is an ideal source of potassium, very versatile, it can be applied in any phenological stage of any crop.

In K deficient crops or in critical phenological phases Aqualis® NOP solub can provide a quick K source to solve the deficiency via foliar application.

On foliar application it should be applied from 0.5 to 3% according to the age of the leaves,

The sensibility of the crop and the weather, in cold weather the quantities can be higher.

As a general guidance, for sensible leaves in horticultural crops and flower production, the foliar application should be between 0.5 and 1% solution, for fruits it can go from 1.0 to 3.0% solution.

Aqualis® NOP solub can be dissolved at a maximum rate of 300 g per liter at 20ºC. Aqualis® NOP solub is produced with a maximum moisture content of 0.2%
